Full Spectrum CBD Oil

Whatta Market now carries Whole Plant, Full-Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil in 500mg and 1000mg bottles. Made from CO2-extracted, certified, Wisconsin hemp, our phytocannabinoid-rich hemp oil has a full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes and naturally low and legal amounts of Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (>0.3% THC).

What is Full-Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil?

Full-Spectrum CBD Hemp oil is an herbal supplement extracted by pressing entire industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa) plants that have been selectively bred to contain less than 0.3% THC. This means you get the benefits of not only cannabidiol (CBD), but 113 different identified cannabinoid compounds, terpines, amino acids, vitamins and more. All of these compounds work together in the “entourage effect” to increase benefits with NO “high”.

We are working directly with a certified industrial hemp farmer in Wisconsin to get our full-spectrum CBD oil. He grows his own crops, sends the plants away for processing, and then receives the oil back so he can bottle it for us. The CBD oil is blended with MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) oil, derived from coconut and palm oils, to create  consistent dosages of 500mg and 1000mg bottles.

Why take Full-Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil?

While the FDA has not approved CBD oil, it is available as an herbal supplement. According to the World Health Organization, preliminary research has shown that CBD may have therapeutic benefits for:

• Alzheimer’s Disease
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Huntington’s Disease
• Pain, especially neuropathic pain resistant to other treatments
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Nausea
• Inflammatory Diseases
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Bacterial Infection
• Inflammatory Bowel and Crohn’s Diseases
• Cardiovascular Diseases
• Diabetic Complications
• Epilepsy and Seizures

They also stated that CBD has “no effects indicitive of any abuse or dependence potential…CBD is generally well-tolerated with a good safety profile…to date there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health-related problems.”

CBD affects the body’s endocannabinoid system (the same system responsible for creating a “runner’s high”). Cannabinoid compounds naturally occur in the human body and play complex roles, making many new targets for therapeutic research.

How do you take CBD oil?

For medical/therapeutic purposes, the majority of CBD users tend to prefer to use a dropper to take the oil sublingually (under the tongue) and hold it under the tongue for 60-90 seconds. This is because CBD is most efficient and versatile when absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Because it is still not approved or regulated by the FDA, there are no clinical data or official guidelines in terms of safety or dosing recommendations. Please discuss your conditions, treatments and other medications with your doctor before starting a CBD regimen.

There are other options with lesser absorption by the body. Taking pills or edibles causes the CBD to be processed by both the stomach and liver, which filters out most of the compounds, before being absorbed into the bloodstream. Creams and lotions don’t penetrate deeply enough into the skin to reach the bloodstream. They may provide some superficial relief, but not much else. Vape oils are available, but there has been conflicting studies about the safety of other compounds in vape oils.

How much CBD oil should you take?

We think that using the lowest amount that helps, is the best idea – not only physically, but financially. In general, you’ll want to start your doses out small, and move up until you feel the effects. While we’re certainly not aiming to provide ANY kind of recommendations or personal suggestions, a lot of people will start off with a simple, initial dose of 1 mg (2 drops of 500mg oil or 1 drop of 1000 mg oil). If you have severe pain, you may want to start with double that.

A lot of people out there will find fantastic relief with as little as 1-3 mg (2-4 drops of 500 mg oil, 1-2 drops of 1000 mg oil) per day. Some daily CBD users find that a dose between 10 and 20 mg (12-24 drops of 500 mg oil, 6-12 drops of 1000 mg oil) administered once or twice daily provides relief from a variety of ailments. Most patients simply take a dose in the morning, and then another one about 12 hours later in the evening, if needed.
